Hello avid blog readers,

I found a house for the summer! It is right by the school and close to work so that is awesome. Rent is a bit high, but that is okay cause it is a nice house and great location and all that jazz. School is quickly coming to a close so I am glad I could sort that out. With the coming end of school all sorts of papers and presentations and stuff are due, so the next two weeks are going to be CRAZY! I’m not sure how I’m going to get it all done, but I think I’m going to have to skip going home for Easter weekend just to finish.

We have our Thursday night league semi-final game this week, Red Tomatoes are going to go all the way!

This past weekend was pretty sweet. Friday night I got to participate in the interview process for the Leadership Award. It was cool to see some incoming students who are going to be a great part of Redeemer next year. Saturday was awesome because I was able to find my new house and get all kinds of homework done with Chad. Then Saturday night was awesome cause we went for dinner and a show and then had a haunted house and waterfall adventure after. By we I mean Joel, Alissa Hunt, Amy Peek and myself. It was a lot of fun. Dropping Joel off was funny because at his house the Sodexo Crew were having a work party and all drunk. We got there for just the tail end when they were all being taxied home. haha. I started the week feeling really stressed but I think I’m going to be able to get it all done.

Fitness Test

Exciting plans are developing for next year. I once again have the opportunity to RA, but this time my partner in crime is Richard. Another bit of exciting news is that I got in for one of the paid Campus Representative jobs, Campus Reps Coordinator. Those two things alone will make the year really exciting, but to cap it off I become one of the senior soccer members and one of the two defense left so I also need to step it up there as well. Oh yah, academics…. whatever. 🙂

We had our indoor soccer tournament the week before last. We only won one out of four games. It was fun but disappointing. Probably why I didn’t update then. It took almost a week to catch up on school stuff. I don’t know how other people do it, missing classes here and there. I should be good now but it would be nice to get ahead.

Banquet was last night. Another great night of food and dancing. The theme this year was Soiree du Soleil. MC’d by Amy Peek and Matt Weverink. They did a great job. To mix it up we even had some dancers type people come and perform for us. That was cool. Had an adventure with Joel after, didn’t arrive home until 3:30!

St. Patrick’s day party tonight, only a few days late. Going to be me first party but I’m a dd so we’ll see how it goes. I have a car this past week cause the folks went to Myrtle Beach with Elayna and Kevin’s paretns and Amy. Hope they are having fun. I haven’t recieved a post card or anything yet, but then again they did lend me the car. I suppose I should put some gas in it for them before they get back.

Slept most of the day today. Going to try and get some ever present homework in tonight before we leave.
Chess update is now 7 wins, 4 losses, and 2 stalemates. We haven’t played in a few days cause we rearranged our room again so we don’t sit next to eachother. The trade off is a I get more homework done.
